As part of the cooperation between Al-Azhar Al-Sharif and Aswan University in the field of awareness, and in implementation of the presidential initiative “A New Beginning for Building the Human,” and in activation of the awareness initiative launched by the Islamic Research Academy under the title “Our Communities are a Trust,” and under the patronage of Prof. Loai Saad Al-Deen Nasrat, President of the University, and Prof. Ashraf Imam, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environment Development, and in attendance Prof. Khairy Ahmed Hussein, Dean of Faculty of Education, and Prof. Saeed Mohamed Sadik, Professor of Curriculum and Methods of Teaching Science and Former Head of the Department of Curriculum and Teaching Methods, the Faculty of Education organized an awareness seminar entitled “Islamic Values and Their Impact on the Social System.”

The seminar was inaugurated by Prof. Khairy Ahmed Hussein, who expressed his gratitude and appreciation to Al-Azhar Al-Sharif for their active and distinguished participation with the university in raising awareness among students by clarifying some religious concepts for them.

For his part, Prof. Saeed Mohamed Sadiq emphasized the importance of Islamic values that maintain the balance of power within the state and society, as they help in building a positive personality with characteristics that enable students to distinguish between right and wrong, and between good and evil.

The seminar was delivered by Sheikh Mohamed Ali Hefni, Director of Guidance at Aswan Azhar Region, Sheikh Ali Abdel-Hamid, and Sheikh Abu Bakr Al-Hassan.

The seminar was organized with the participation of members of the student union team, and the students raised a series of religious questions and inquiries to Al-Azhar scholars.
