Faculty of Education Council held its 335th regular meeting this morning, Wednesday, March 13, 2024, headed by Prof. Khairy Hussein_ Faculty Dean_ and in the attendance of the deputies and members of the Council.
The meeting began with congratulations on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan. The meeting discussed a number of topics on the agenda related to the progress of study during the second semester and the plan for student and service activities. During the meeting, the council followed up on the control work plan to finalize all results for the first semester, and the Faculty dean stressed the necessity of completion of all the results work so that they can be announced and published on the Faculty official website
During the session, the Council approved the registration of applicants for master’s and doctoral students in the various departments of the Faculty. It also approved the appointment of Academic staff to the positions of Lecturer and assistant Lecturer. The Council also approved granting master’s and doctoral degrees to a number of researchers.
On the sidelines of the Faculty Council meeting, Prof. Khairy Hussein, Faculty Dean, and Prof. Manal Khodari, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Environment and Community Affairs, honored Prof. Mona Arafa_ Head of the Fundamentals of Education Department and pioneer of the Oscar group at the Faculty, in appreciation of her efforts and sincere cooperation with the community service and environment development sector and her distinguished role in the field of student activities in the faculty.
