Under the patronage of Prof. Ayman Othman_ University President_ Prof. Louai Nasrat, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Khairy Hussein, Faculty Dean, within the framework of the activities of the community service and environment development sector at the Faculty, under the supervision of Prof. Manal Khodari, the Faculty dean for environment and community affairs, in cooperation with the Directorate of Health Affairs in Aswan, the Faculty held a symposium entitled “Fasting for good health,” in which the lecturer was Prof. Aisha Abdel-Rady Amir_ the health information official in Aswan.
The symposium topics included a number of topics, including the importance of fasting in maintaining public health and protecting people from many diseases to which they may be exposed.
This symposium was followed by responding to students’ questions about fasting and its effects on human health.
