Aswan university president Prof/ Ahmed Ghallab declared that Aswan University achieved new ranking according to British Times among (23 )Egyptian Universities within (767) global universities in British Times ranking which include ( 17) goals for the impact of Universities on achieving the sustainable development Goals for 2020 at the level of (85) countries, Aswan University achieved many advanced positions in (6) axes of sustainable development that is (201-200 ) in the eleven goal ( sustainable cities and communities) and climate change.
And (201-300) in Government partnerships, Justice and Equality and (301- 400) in Education quality and Health services.
Prof/ Ghallab added that Aswan University achieves advanced positions at global universities level, and through this ranking Aswan University achieved good scientific position through scientific research and community participation toward community and surrounding environment.
For his part, Prof/ Ayman Osman _Vice president for graduate studies and research _ indicated that university’s high ranking is a result of that the university is harnessing all potentials of scientific research and upgrading the infrastructure of Laboratories and scientific centers in all faculties.
Dr/ Mohamed Abdel-Aziz _ Manager of Ranking center_ declared that we are working to participate in all research and community Rankings in international institutions for achieving advanced positions and set Aswan university among the largest scientific universities.
