Educational psychology is a theoretical and applied branch of psychology. It is primarily concerned with theoretical studies and practical procedures related to applying the principles of psychology in the fields of education, child upbringing, and the development of individuals’ abilities and personalities. It focuses particularly on the processes of learning, teaching, and training, as well as the psychological foundations of the teacher’s work.
It is defined as the scientific study of human behavior in various educational situations. Educational psychology is a science based on a large body of facts and a set of knowledge derived from scientific research in psychology.
