In light of the previous decisions of supreme council of universities in its session No.699 on 18/4/2020, it is a permanent session.
The council was held today 7/5/2020 for discussing and accrediting the report of committee that was formed to follow up implementing the council resolutions issued at the previous session regarding the future plans of study system and exams of second semester for the academic year 2019/2020 in the framework of developments of global and local of the spread of corona virus.
The council ended in light of the latest development and in the interest of all students, it is decided to approve the recommendations of the committee that has been formed before, and the council decided to treat flunking students or students from abroad as the other new students whereas preparing acceptable research ( research article- research project- reference research) or passing electronic tests in the curriculums as decided by university council in determining one of the two previous alternatives and according to mechanisms and controls already established in this regard.
The council assured on applying all resolutions which was approved at its session No.699 of a decree of Minister of higher education and research No. 1290 of 2020 that the council was keen on completing the second semester for students with achieving the minimum level of study requirements.
