The PhD dissertation of researcher Alaa Abdel-Razek Mohamed Othman (Science Curriculum and Instruction) was discussed under the auspices of Prof. Loay Saad El-Din Nasrat, University President; Prof. Mohamed Abdel-Aziz Orabi, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research; Prof. Khairy Ahmed Hussein, Dean of the Faculty; and Prof. Souad Gaber Mahmoud, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research. The dissertation was discussed on Thursday, July 3, 2025, at the Faculty of Education in Aswan. The dissertation was titled:
*(A Proposed Program in Nanotechnology Based on Cognitive Flexibility Theory to Develop Scientific Concepts, Future Thinking Skills, and Scientific Literacy among Second-Year Preparatory Students at Al-Azhar)*

The researcher was recommended to be awarded the degree with the grade of “Excellent,” with the possibility of exchanging it with Egyptian universities and relevant institutions.
